CUSTOMER CARE / FREIGHT FORWARDING COORDINATOR

Our Budapest branch was founded 9 years ago. We are currently a team of 20 people in our office at BILK (Budapest 1239), covering all scopes of transportation from Operations and Customer Service to Controlling and Administration.

Task:

We are currently searching for a new colleague to join our Customer Service Department in Budapest. You will be in direct contact with our clients, organize their shipments, assist them with any requests and solutions, and follow-up on their orders until delivery.
  • Get in touch with our hubs and agents to track the shipment statuses
  • Work with our internal Planning Teams and carriers to coordinate the shipments
  • Liaise internally with our relevant Controlling Teams (POD Team, Invoicing Team)
  • Monitor and confirm the electronic statuses, enter the eventual failure codes
  • Register and investigate the official complaints, and prepare the corrective action plans
  • Handle the transport documents (EDI flows, announces, transmission of Customs Documents, uploading the documents into SAP, CMR & PODs)
  • Extract and crosscheck the non-conformities in order to prepare the performance reports
  • Complete the regular administrative tasks linked with the position

Expectation:

  • English: Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • 1+ year of experience in International Road Freight Forwarding field
  • Customer-oriented.
  • Pleasant and exemplary behavior towards our clients, under all circumstances
  • Organized person, accurate and dynamic
  • Aptitude to multi-task and define priorities
  • Team-spirit approach and positive nature within the office
  • Confident with MS Office

Other:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Care Team is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
