Credit risk analyst

Scope of the role:

Our actuarial and credit risk modelling practice has over 1,000 specialists in 36 countries providing assurance and advisory services to the insurance and banking industry, its regulators, and other financial services providers.

We specialize in helping financial services companies create, sustain and increase shareholder value by adopting a value-based approach to the issues they face.

As part of the world's largest professional services organization, we draw on the extensive knowledge of accountants, risk managers, performance improvement consultants, tax advisors, as well as corporate finance and business recovery specialists. We advise a wide range of clients in traditional areas of credit risk modelling, actuarial work, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, exit solutions and capital modelling.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing credit risk modelling and analytics services to clients from the banking sector;

  • Supporting audit engagements of IFRS9 ECL models through challenging our clients methodological approaches and implementation of applied methodologies in order to identify material weaknesses or areas of concern;

  • Run, enhance and implement credit data quality control processes;

  • Supporting other credit measurement-related projects such as acquisition due diligence and stress testing;

  • Building long-term relationships with clients to be regarded as a trusted advisor.

Requirements:

  •  3-5 years of experience in relevant roles (modelling, model validation, reporting) or finance involving data analysis; 

  • University degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Physics or similar fields;

  • Good command of English language, both written and oral;

  • Experience in using/willing to learn statistical softwares (R, Python).
