Communications & PR Manager

    In this role we are searching for an experienced professional, who will manage the PR activities of Profession.hu and the Hungarian subsidiary of Ringier Axel Springer (RAS). Our new colleague will be located in the Profession.hu office, and will be responsible in 50% of Profession.hu, and 50% of RAS PR activities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Managing all the PR and communication activities of two acknowledged media companies – Profession.hu and Ringier Axel Springer Media AG
  • Developing and implementing annual strategic communication plans that include goals, activities, materials, and performance indicators
  • Planning, organizing, and directing overall communication strategies for the organizations to enhance the reputation and visibility
  • You will be responsible for the complete communication of the Remote working project powered by the Profession.hu
  • Representing the organizations in the media and related events
  • Overseeing the digital communication for both of the companies, including the content for the Website, social media, and Intranet
  • Coordinating, overseeing and attending press activities, such as press releases and events, identifying and preparing public appearances.
  • Working closely with the Head of Corporate Communication of RAS Hungary to identify relevant events and opportunities
  • Maintaining extensive and positive relationships with national media in Hungary
  • Supporting the top managing staff in developing key messages, preparing presentations and speeches

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in a relevant field, including public relations, journalism, communication
  • 5 years professional experience, ideally with experience in the media industry
  • Flexible personality
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under time and resource pressure
  • Strong knowledge of budget processes and evaluation of outcomes analysis
  • Experience in crisis communication management
  • Knowledge of the latest advances in use of digital and social media for effective corporate communication
