Client Accountant Assistant

Your Responsibilities:

    • Provide information for VAT or other tax returns
    • Maintain and provide detailed and accurate prepayments and accruals along with appropriate supporting documentation. To include but not exclusive to the following:
      • Lease holding over accrual
      • Rent Review Accrual
      • Rent Stop accrual
      • Rent free periods
      • Bad Debt
    • Liaise with the client’s finance department to ensure appropriate provision of information for accounting treatment
    • Provide explanations on a periodic basis of variances from forecast on a property by property basis
    • Preparation and calculation of finance amendments to tenant/landlord accounts as a result of data entry forms (DEFs)
    • Maintenance and amendments to the chart of accounts and data structure within the Property Management & Accounting systems
    • Day to day identification of quality issues and risks and escalation of such issues
    • Assist in preparing monthly / quarterly reports & KPI reports (multiple clients)

Your profile:

  • Master or Bachelor degree (Finance, Economics degree is an advantage)
  • 1-1,5 years’ working experience in a Finance/Accounting related role, preferably in a Shared Services environment
  • Strong IT literacy (MS Office, banking and client systems which are necessary for fulfilling the job).
  • Competent user of multiple technology systems, ideally with exposure to finance systems /ERP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Team player with very positive, communicative attitude
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Personally achieve above target quality & performance for area(s) of specialization
