CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

The Chief Financial Officer (‘CFO’) is responsible for the overall control of the Groups finance function, coordinating all current territories accounting functions and establishing any new required territories and integrating them into the Group.

TASKS

  • Lead the Groups’ finance and accounting strategy and optimise financial performance, profitability, cash generation/management, and strategic positioning­
  • Contribute to the development of the Group's strategy across all areas, challenging assumptions and decision making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
  • Ensure processes and controls are put in place to adhere to the Groups financial policies and territories compliance requirements
  • Produce monthly consolidated financials and analysis and create and manage the Group's budget
  • Corporate finance: manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation compliance and structure, equity, disposals and acquisitions as appropriate
  • Optimise cash flow through debtor/creditor management
  • Manage debt covenants and repayment profiles and arrange new sources of finance where required
  • Manage and seek additional funding and financial assistance applications for the Group
  • Manage any other financial benefits available such as R&D tax credits etc.
  • Manage financial risks such as FX exposure
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  • Establish and build relationships with external parties: banks/investors/lawyers

REQUIREMENTS

  • Having a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA / CPA)
  • 10+ years of experience in a progressively responsible financial management role working with IFRS and HU GAAP in an international business environment
  • In-depth experience of Microsoft Dynamics Navision
  • Manufacturing / Cost accounting experience is essential
  • Strong background collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing a finance team
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, work with, and present to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to perform hands-on, tactical and strategic work in the areas of responsibility
  • Proven responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data and reporting, including internal control understanding
  • Expert level with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance
  • Financial automation experience a plus
