The Buyer will be based in Tab. This person will mainly secure the necessary materials for the mass production based on ERP recommendations, closely monitor and track the purchase orders, minimize / avoid extra costs and keep the raw material inventory at the optimal level.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

  • Follow and stick to the purchasing processes defined in the ERP system
  • Order materials needed for the production based on the demands received from Planning and based on purchasing parameters received from NPI buyers
  • Document and control the PO confirmations
  • Track and control the deliveries from suppliers, check and discuss the delivery discrepancies with the suppliers
  • Keep continuous contact with the suppliers
  • Blocked invoice handling
  • Follow the escalation flow coming from material shortages due to various reasons
  • Participate in shortage calls, meetings
  • Provide accurate data for shortage reporting on a daily basis
  • Arrange and track deliveries of purchase orders based on the instructions of the transport team
  • Optimize transportation costs, avoid extra costs
  • Optimize raw material inventory

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

  • Professional experience in procurement/purchasing/logistics field
  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Good communication skills in Hungarian
  • Upper intermediate level of English language
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Working experience with an ERP system (BAAN)- can be an advantage
