About the Team

You will join a dynamic and collaborative team within DS Value Chain Management. Our team values innovation, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and team spirit. We host activities such as board game nights, sauna sessions, and shared breakfasts.

 

Role Overview

As a Business Intelligence & Process Improvement Specialist within DS Value Chain Management, you will contribute to planning, implementing, and improving business processes and tools. You will manage projects, collaborate with stakeholders across functions, and help shape the evolution of our business intelligence systems.

  • Process Oversight: Support planning, implementation, optimization, and measurement of business processes to enhance efficiency.

  • Tool and Model Management: Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving business tools for consistency and harmonization.

  • System Improvement Proposals: Prepare proposals for system enhancements and oversee testing and implementation of new techniques, tools, and processes.

  • IT Project Involvement: Participate in IT projects, contribute to system maintenance and development, and support planning, scheduling, and margin management.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing relevant regulations.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track process and system performance, provide insights, and recommend improvements.

  • Business Analysis: Collect and prioritize business requirements, conduct analysis, and create functional specifications.

  • Software Portfolio Management: Act as a bridge between end users, IT, and third-party support for software portfolio management.

  • Product Owner Responsibilities: Define and prioritize backlog items, ensure clear communication between business and development teams, and validate deliverables against business needs.

  • Education: Bsc/Msc in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field,

  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and mathematical background.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder and project management.

    • Ability to write functional specifications and translate business needs into precise requirements.

    • Experience with Microsoft technologies: MS Excel (VBA), Power BI (DAX), Power Query, PowerPivot, Office applications.

  • Language: Advanced English (written and verbal).

  • Knowledge of supply chain optimization, planning, and scheduling methods/tools.

  • Experience as a Product Owner in an agile development environment.

  • Familiarity with master data governance, data cleaning, and data quality assurance.

  • Experience with self-service BI reporting and data modeling practices.
