We are looking for enthusiastic and agile candidates to the position of AIX/Backup System Administrator to our Central and Eastern European regional Data Center in Budapest.

AIX/Backup System Administrator


  • Performing AIX System Administrator Tasks on Operator Entitities / Operating Systems of the Contractor
  • Checking and maintaining user accounts, system logs, configure network settings
  • Administering the Power VM Virtualization Environment in Virtual IO Servers and in Hardware Management Console (HMC)
  • Maintenance, control and further development of operating scripts
  • Manage backups: Networker, DataDomain storage system, Tape Library storage system
  • Continuous monitoring of the operational readiness of the systems listed above
  • Document changes to the systems listed above
  • Preparation of inventory and inventory lists for the systems listed above on request
  • Further develop the above listed systems
  • Troubleshooting the systems listed above, including vendors as needed
  • Perform modifications based on Customer-initiated ticket management systems approved and approved
  • Planning and consultation support for projects affecting the above listed systems
  • Support data center relocation projects in the areas of responsibility listed above


  • Adequate experience in a similar position and in multinational environment
  • Work based on ITIL-based processes
  • Good communication skills
  • Advanced English is a must
  • Proactive approach is expected
