Automation Tester

position

We are offering a wide range of consulting services to various clients. Our portfolio covers a complete set of professional services for the service lifecycle from concept to deployment, training and support, as well as network design and end to end implementation and integration.
Working as part of the engineering team you will test the Linux OS aspects of multi product platform and the migration of shared product features (install, upgrade and process management) from Solaris to Linux.

Responsibilities:

Create with test scripts
Execute test scripts using automation tools
Assist in producing test plans and test cases
Compile environment requirements
Populate database with test cases
Ability to communicate and discuss Technical Issues with other Engineering Groups
Produce regular Progress Reports to communicate progress being made
Continually build and improve relationships within the project teams
Raise and follow up on defects

Required Skills:

Linux
Scripting / Coding experience (Python, JSON, XML, REST)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and drive complex technical problems to solution
Experience working in a fast paced environment
Team Player
Flexibility and Adaptability.
Fluency in English

Job Requirements :
Desirable Skills:

Agile methodology
Unix Shell Scripting
Object oriented programming - eg Java, C++
Object oriented scripting – eg Python, Ruby
Eclipse PyDev
Java script
Jython
Using and administering Linux environments
Knowledge of HA system design and concurrency
3 years technical experience ideally in a Test or Development role
